Ghana, Denmark Host Conference In New York
♫ Saturday, January 8th, 2011Ghana and Denmark have co-hosted a Conference of Foreign Ministers and Government Officials from all over the world dubbed “The Responsibility to Protect”. The Conference was held at the

sidelines of the on-going United Nations General Assembly Summit in New York. Ghana’s Foreign Minister represented Ghana, whilst his counterpart represented Denmark.
“The Responsibility to Protect” seeks to address four types of abuses, these are genocide, ethic cleansing, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
“Responsibility to Protect” was widely accepted in 2005 by the International Community to quickly take action on acts of genocide and other gross human abuses.
